World Quantum Day

14 Apr, 23 - 20 Apr, 23

Event Segments

To encourage global understanding of Quantum Science & Technology with the World Quantum Day, STEM Community, IUB (STEMcIUB) has planned an event comprising three segments. Each segments are designed to offer a unique perspective on the intriguing world of quantum science.

Segment 1: Discussion with Dr. Arshad Momen, PhD Professor, Theoretical Physics, Department of Physical Sciences, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB)

Segment 2: IUB Student Open Discussion

Segment 3: Short Blog Posts on Quantum from the official page of STEM Community, IUB (STEMcIUB)

The first segment features an exclusive discussion with Dr. Arshad Momen, an acclaimed professor of Theoretical Physics at IUB. Dr. Momen will share his insights and expertise on the advancements and impacts of quantum science and technology in various multidisciplinary fields, from the basics to the cutting edge. The second segment is an in-person event where students from diverse departments will be asked for an open discussion on quantum science. This segment aims to foster a cooperative learning environment and encourages students to share their knowledge and perspectives on the topic. Finally, the third segment is online, where simple and easy-to-understand explanations of various topics such as Quantum physics, Quantum cryptography, Schrodinger’s cat analogy for particle quantum state, and more will be posted from the official page of STEMcIUB. These posts will serve as a valuable resource for the general public and students, who can access and explore the vast realm of quantum science.
